About Jo Bywater

I have been dedicated to playing guitar since 1995 and have been in a variety of bands/duos/solo projects: covers and originals.

I play electric and acoustic guitar, lead and rhythm. I have played lead guitar with a number of original artists as well as performing for their studio recordings and International tours.

I’m DBS checked and cater for all ages and abilities.

We’re going to learn how to play 4 Non Blonds – What’s Up? on the guitar. This is often known as a beginner guitar song. It consists of a repeated 3 chords progression throughout the entire song and for this aspect, yes, it’s fairly straight forward.

Today we’re looking at Teenage Dirtbag from the year 2000.  What an awesome song by wheatus.

This is a fantastic campfire singalong song. It’s a fairly simple rhythmic song but there are a couple of things they’ve sprinkled in there that really give it it’s personality.

We’re looking  at power chord shapes mostly and how they’ve also created the riff using those shapes.
