One-to-one Guitar Lessons

I have been studying w/ Jo asynchronously for the better part of a year. She has helped me develop practice skills and prioritize practice goals, and the progress is marked. I greatly appreciate Jo’s communication style and willingness to help me work through struggles. Outstanding.

Jo has provided me with an excellent learning experience. She has enabled me to progress my guitar journey with patience and a wealth of knowledge. As a blind guitarist she has asked me at every stage, what would work for me, how can she help me get the most out of our lessons. I look forward to our lessons and being a better guitarist with the help of Jo.

After looking at many of the teachers on YouTube, I decided to solicit her help with my learning.
Jo very quickly established where my playing skills were at & guided me through what I needed to do with one of the songs I liked to play so that I'd be confident to play it in any company, within reason!. Where my playing goes from here is going to be relative to my skill & my commitment to practice. I'm confident that Jo has the knowledge, skill & patience to help me to play reasonable guitar once I do the learning & practice.

Jo is creative, clear, patient and kind. She has a true mastery of the instrument and a talent for breaking it down into easy to practice and digest modules.

Jo Bywater is an excellent teacher. She allows me to learn in a fun and stress-free way. Personal online sessions are perfectly informative and easy. I highly recommend Jo Bywater for guitar lessons.
